this will be another "meh" review. i went to king's this morning because they're one of the few places (if not the only one) open before 7:30am on a saturday. +1 for (somewhat) friendly staff. +1 for decent breakfast proportions, especially considering the cheap prices. +0 for "average" everything else. -1 for below average coffee. don't go out of your way to come here, but it's conveniently open at odd hours.

Kings has gone very far down hill over the years. Poor quality in food. And smaller portions than it's competition. For the price its definitely not worth it

When you go to King's you're not expecting much. It's one of those places that you go to late at night when nothing better is open. The food is mediocre, and the service is worse. The last time I went, the kitchen staff were playing a joke on the waitress I guess-- the sundae they brought out had no ice cream. Anyway, the service is terrible and the food is not even worth the cheap prices.

In the 9 months of being in town, I avoided this restaurant. The TV commercials do not make it seem very appetizing. But we needed a place that could handle about 14 of us on a Sunday morning, and I thought here might be the only one in town. I called ahead, only about 45 minutes ahead, but I wanted to warn them that we would be descending on them. They sounded uncertain on the phone that they wanted a big group. But oh well. I assured them we were nice. So we get there, and they have a back room all set up for us, and they were nice, and the place was clean, and the service was very good. Not slow at all. Just right. Our server had us all settled and took our orders in good time and our food came out in the expected amount of time! The potato pancakes I ordered were DELICIOUS. Everyone was very pleased. Many of our group were from out of town, and they were quite satisfied. Based on this experience, I will not hesitate to go back. The only reason I can't give a 5-star is because their coffee is terrible. More like coffee-flavored water. C'mon, you're a breakfast place, spring a little for better coffee. People will appreciate it, trust me on that one. I went here hesitantly but have changed my mind for sure. Yummy food, pleasant place.

Me and my mom went here for dinner the other night the service was okay but my meat loaf I got was not hot it was barely warm like it was sitting in the kitchen for some time. And there was the Mash potatoes were hard and lumpy. Never again will I come here.
